ALTARE - Der Altar von Schloss Tirol

The exhibition and the catalogue "Andacht und Herrschaft. Der Altar von Schloss Tirol" focus on the castle's most prominent piece of inventory, the winged altar, which the early Habsburgs donated to the chapel around 1370 as a political symbol. The festive exhibition and catalogue were organised and designed as part of the celebrations to mark the 50th anniversary of the transfer of the castle to the Autonomous Province of Bolzano.
