Um Gottes Willen!

For the Archaeological Park Cambodunum, a new permanent exhibition has been implemented in the so-called Temple District. A particular challenge was the fact that the exhibition furniture is exposed to significant temperature and weather fluctuations throughout the year in unheated arcades. Additionally, the narrow spaces required a suitably adapted exhibition architecture. Besides telling the story of the Roman settlement of Cambodunum, for which the city of Kempten claims to be the “oldest city in Germany”, the new permanent exhibition also narrates the history of the excavations and reconstructions of the settlement in modern times.
